ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of computer science and engineering has been established in the year of 2004 offering Under Graduate program with the intake of 60 students and later it has been upgraded to 120 students and offers Post Graduate program also. This department has a set of dedicated, talented, well qualified and an experienced team as teaching faculty.
Innovative research activities are going on in various fields like Artificial Intelligence ,Machine learning, Metaverse and Network engineering . In addition to the academic excellence, our students have also exhibited their talents by participating in extracurricular activities in intra college tournaments and Anna University Zonal tournaments.
Every year, our department is organizing Open House (mini–Project Exhibition). During each semester, we conduct VALUE ADDED COURSE for the students so as to widen and update their knowledge in various fields.

The Association of Computer Science and Engineering ASTUTE (ASSOCIATION OF STUDENTS URGE TO BE A TACTFUL ENGINEER) was inaugurated in the year 2006.Association conducts various technical activities like hackathon on python and java, poster presentation ,web page design, to enrich the student’s strength in technical, and current affairs to improve their personality development.
