ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department was established in 2004. The department has excellent lab facilities with highly qualified, experienced and committed faculty members. M.E Engineering Design course is offered by the department since 2011. The students of the Mechanical Engineering Department regularly organize various technical and extracurricular events frequently under the banner of Students Association BEMASS. The department gives continuous training programs towards the placement of the students.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has an association named “Bernoulli’s Mechanical Engineering Association for Successful Students (BEMASS)”. The Association carry out several activities throughout the academic year to keep the students in pace with the recent developments in the field of Science, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Design. The activities of the association include Seminars, Group Discussions, Debates, Paper Presentations, Quiz, Puzzles, Design Contests, Career Guidance Programs, Mock Interviews and Symposiums.
Received a funded project worth Rs.10, 000 from Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology.
Placement training is given in the domain of Puzzle solving, Aptitude (General and Technical), Group discussions, Mock interviews and logical reasoning.
