The Electronics and Communication Engineering department of our College has been established in the year 2004, offering both Under Graduate and Post Graduate programs. The field of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the imperative branches of Engineering. This department has a team of dedicated, well-qualified, and experienced teaching faculty members.
The department runs Under Graduate programs with the intake of 120 students and two Post Graduate programs with the intake of 18 students in the specialization of Applied Electronics and Communication & Networking. The department has a tradition of excellence in VLSI design, Communication Systems, Embedded Systems, Optical Communication, Image processing, and their applications.
The department has 22 teaching and 5 non-teaching faculties which includes 2 Ph.D. holders and 4 Research Scholars working in the areas of Microelectronics & VLSI Design, Analog & Digital Signal Processing, Communication Engineering. The goal of our department is to offer high-quality education in Electronics and Communication Engineering at par with industry standards.
The Department provides access to high-end software like Cadence Suite, LABVIEW, Xilinx, PSPICE-16.3, TCAD, and MATLAB. The department supports Technical Co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the students include participation in paper presentations, workshops, seminars, quizzes, technical competitions, and participation in cultural activities.
The state-of-the-art laboratories, such as VLSI Lab, Linear Integrated Circuits Lab, Digital Image Processing Lab, Circuit Simulation Lab, Communication Lab, Analog and Digital Lab, Electronics System Design lab nurture the inclination of the students towards research and development. The department focuses mainly on research activities. The department received a grant-in-aid from the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi worth Rupees 18 Lakhs.
