Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2004 and offers B.E. degree program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.E. degree programme in Power Electronics and Drives. The Department has been accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation) for B.E-EEE programme. The Department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members with excellent laboratory facilities. The department staff members are doing research in the areas of Power Systems, Control & Automation, Renewable Energy Systems, Power Electronics & drives, High Voltage Engineering, Special Machines, Biomedical Engineering and Optimization Control techniques. Faculty members of EEE Department interact with well-reputed industries to facilitate funded projects, research and consultancy in the chosen areas. Institution of Engineers (India), Student Chapter- Electrical Engineering division directs the students in bringing innovations in the field of Electrical Engineering and its applications. Solar Power Plant with capacity of 100 KW grid connected functioning at our college campus. The EEE Department has been organizing many symposium, guest lectures through ISTE and the IE Chapter.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs):

  • PEO - I: Our graduates will be able to analyze and solve electrical engineering problems by applying basic principles of mathematics, science, and engineering.
  • PEO - II: Our graduates will be able to use modern engineering techniques to develop their skills and knowledge after graduation to fulfill the needs of society.
  • PEO - III: Our graduates will have the necessary professional skills, such as high ethical standards, effective oral and written communications and team work to be productive engineers.
  • PEO - IV: Our Graduates are better employable and achieve success in their chosen areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and related fields.

  • Frequent technical conference, symposium, Mini project exhibitions, Group discussions, quiz programs, Mock Interviews, Debates, Seminars and student paper contests
  • The EEE Students association is an active body of the students interested in Robotics, Power Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Smart Systems, and Networks etc.
  • Staff and Students are actively involved in professional society activities like ISTE and IE.

PROFESSIONAL SOCIETY ACTIVITIES:
