Electronics & Communication Engineering

The Electronics and Communication Engineering department of our College has been established in the year 2004, offering both Under Graduate and Post Graduate programmes. The field of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the imperative branches of Engineering. This department has a team of dedicated, well qualified and experienced teaching faculty members. The department runs Under Graduate programmes with the intake of 120 students and two Post Graduate programmes with the intake of 18 students in the specialization of Applied Electronics and Communication & Networking. The department has a tradition of excellence in VLSI design, Communication Systems, Embedded Systems, Optical Communication, Image processing and their applications.The department has 22 teaching and 5 non-teaching faculties which includes 2 PhD holders and 4 Research Scholars working in the areas of Microelectronics & VLSI Design, Analog & Digital Signal Processing, Communication Engineering. The goal of our department is to offer a high quality education in Electronics and Communication Engineering at par with Industry standards.

The Department provides access to high end software like Cadence Suite, LABVIEW, Xilinx, PSPICE-16.3, TCAD and MATLAB. The department supports Technical Co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the students include participation in paper presentation, workshops, seminars, quizzes, technical competitions and participation in cultural activities.The state-of-the-art laboratories, such as VLSI Lab, Linear Integrated Circuits Lab, Digital Image Processing Lab, Circuit Simulation Lab, Communication Lab, Analog and Digital Lab, Electronics System Design lab nurture the inclination of the students towards research and development. The department focuses mainly towards research activities. The department received a grant-in-aid from Department of Science and Technology,New Delhi worth of Rupees 18 Lakhs.

Programme Educational Objectives

Upon completion of B.E- Electronics and Communication Engineering Our Students will able to

  • PEO 1: Acquire sound theoretical background with hands on practical knowledge in electronic devices and systems to pursue lifelong learning
  • PEO 2: Articulate and justify technical solutions through written, oral and visual communication
  • PEO 3: Think innovatively to design and develop electronic system with ethical and social sensitivities
  • PEO 4: Develop attitude and skill to acquire employment catering the industrial needs

Our department association Einstein Legends Association for Communication Engineers (ELACE) is actively run and conducts several Programmes and events which will make the students excellence in all aspects. The events like technical symposium, Career Development program and soft simulation context are organized to enrich the students’ knowledge in technical and non-technical aspects thereby improving their overall personality. Science, Engineering and Technology Exhibition of Einstein College of Engineering titled OPEN HOUSE is organized by our department to encourage the department students to bring about their out of box thinking by their creative projects. The winner is appreciated with prize amount.

  • Symposium: ELACE organized a one day National Level Technical Symposium, "ESOTERIC-2k14".
  • Technical Aptitude: Aptitude tests for all the students are conducted every Friday on technical as well as non-technical fields like quantitative, logical reasoning etc. Quantitative aptitude test was conducted for all the students.
  • Presentation: We organized one day Paper Presentation for Third year students on various topics by our faculties.
  • Open House: The Open House is an event which is mainly organized to encourage the students to apply their theoretical knowledge to bring about innovative solutions to the problems in real world thereby improving their practical knowledge. Also it facilitates the students to increase their ability in designing circuits and systems
